What stays local
Original text, cleaned text, replacement maps, custom terms, and local impact stats stay in your browser storage or memory unless you choose to copy, download, or share them.
Privacy policy
The current web cleaner and Chrome extension prototype process pasted text in your browser. PasteShield does not run a server-side redaction service in this MVP, and your cleaned or original text is not uploaded by the app.
Original text, cleaned text, replacement maps, custom terms, and local impact stats stay in your browser storage or memory unless you choose to copy, download, or share them.
Custom redaction terms and local impact stats may be saved in browser storage so the tool remembers your settings on the same device.
The MVP does not collect account data, analytics events, pasted content, files, replacement maps, or browsing history.
The extension asks for access only on supported AI, developer, forum, and support sites so it can add a local Clean button near text boxes. The activeTab permission is used when you trigger Clean from the popup or keyboard shortcut.
Founder-license checkout should be handled by the configured payment provider. PasteShield does not process card details directly.
Use the support or waitlist email configured in config.js for privacy questions, refunds, or founder-license access.
